Here's where it all begins

I'm very happy with my new doctor, she isn't messing around. We went over all of my medical concerns and she made a game plan. She came up with what is of a high priority and the list trickled down from there.

She said I had better prepare because I'm going to be very busy in the months ahead. Boy, she wasn't kidding.

She started by getting a proper referral for a diagnostic mammogram. That was scheduled for October 21. The following week were blood tests, then a bone density scan and then the big one...

My biopsy is scheduled for November 23, just 2 days before Thanksgiving.

Until then, we're trying to be as normal as usual around here.
